Ensure that your stones are clean and dry prior to placing them in the bag. Place the bag on a table or cart. Locate the plug adapter inside the side zipper pocket. With the clear plastic insert liner bag placed in the bag, open the lid and begin by placing the stones directly onto the base of the clear plastic insert liner bag. Arrange the stones by size. This bag is ideal for the smaller stone sets. To ensure that your stones fit into the bag, you can place them on a 45 degree angle. (Note the stones will take longer to heat when placed on an angle as the heat source is found on the bottom only). With all the stones in your bag, close both the clear plastic and the fabric bag covers. You can zip the bags closed to heat quicker.  Allow the stones to heat 50-60 minutes at 160F and then adjust according to your temperature needs. Remember that if the stones are too hot for you to hold comfortably, they will be too hot for you to use on your client. Remove each stone as required. You can use your hot stone holster to pocket more stones to help eliminate numerous trips to your heating bag. When the stones have cooled off, return them to the clear plastic insert bag liner to reheat for a few minutes. When you have stepped away from your heating bag, lower the lids to keep the heat in.

Unplug the bag when you have finished your treatment. Do NOT immerse the exterior canvas bag in water or allow it to come in contact with water. Wash only the clear plastic insert liner bag. Remove all the stones and place them in a plastic bin. Fill with hot water and clean the stones with a cloth or brush using The Stone Massage Company’s All Natural Sweet Orange and Lemongrass Stone Wash. Rinse, pat dry and spray the stones with The Stone Massage Company’s Tea Tree & Sacred Sage Spray. To clean the clear plastic insert liner bag, wash with hot water and a few drops of the Sweet Orange and Lemongrass Stone Wash. Wipe dry before returning it to the canvas bag.
