To register for the Full Body Hot Stone Therapy In-Class or Full Body Hot Stone Therapy Home Study Course, please fill out one of the ON-LINE REGISTRATION FORMS. ABOUT OUR COURSES
We offer 3 course options: In-Class Course, Home Study/Correspondence Option, or On-Site at your location. We regularly hold In-Class Courses in TORONTO, CAMBRIDGE, LONDON and WINNIPEG. We also offer a Home-Study/Correspondence option for those who are too far away to travel or prefer to study on their own. Or, we can arrange to come to you! We can travel anywhere to teach Hot Stone Therapy to your group of students, staff, or therapists. Whether you want to offer an elective within your school or wish to have a a group of therapists on your staff certified in Hot Stone Therapy, we can accommodate to your needs.
WHO TAKES OUR COURSES
Our students include Massage Therapists, Reflexologists, Aromatherapists, Estheticians, Holistic Practitioners, Reiki Practitioners, and Naturopaths. Students are encouraged to have previous bodywork knowledge including massage techniques, anatomy, or physiology. Students who have registered to take our Home Study/Correspondence Course have the option to "upgrade" from the Home Study/Correspondence Course to the In-Class course at anytime and pay the difference of $20.00. Please contact us if you wish to upgrade.
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE COURSES
The In-Class Course is $299.00. This includes a 100 page course manual and DVD which you will receive from the teacher on the day of the course.
The Home Study Course is $279.00. This includes a 100 page course manual and DVD which we will ship to you in the mail upon registration.
We also offer private or semi-private Full Body Courses in Toronto for $375.00/person. This class is 4-5 hours in duration.
Note: All products purchased are in addition to the cost of the course. All Students registering for either course will receive a $60.00 savings on one our recommended stone kits or 10% off on any a la carte purchases.

During the In-Class Course, the first component of the course will focus on the history and theory of hot stone therapy based on material from our 100 page fully illustrated instructional manual and DVD (included with your tuition price). The remainder of the day will be dedicated to learning a full body hot stone routine. All students will first observe a full body hot stone massage demonstration by the course instructor, before moving on to giving and receiving a full body treatment.
HOW DO I BECOME CERTIFIED
Certification requires completion of all mandatory course assignments. Both In-Class and and Home-Study Courses are 30 hours in length. The In-Class Course begins with a one day hands-on in class course followed by the completion of 5 case studies and a written exam at home. For those choosing the Home-study/Correspondence Course option, we will mail you your course manual and DVD in the mail. You will be required to complete 5 case studies with a written report and a written exam at home. Please note that we do not require any video taping of your case studies, only a completed written report. All completed work must be submitted to The Stone Massage Company for final grading purpose within 12 months of your course registration date. Upon successful review, we will issue you a certificate in the mail. You will officially be certified as a Hot Stone Therapy Practitionerfrom The Stone Massage Company. Note: Be weary of other institutions offering only a certificate of attendance or the option to upgrade. We offer only the highest level of certification highly regarded by insurance companies and/or your potential employers.

Note that to complete your 5 practicum case studies at home, you will require stone supplies.
